Father dies, son injured in tanker accident

tanker driver died in a road mishap in Ratnanagar, Chitwan on Tuesday night. His son was critically injured in the accident. 

The accident happened at Ratnanagar-3 when a tanker , Na 1 Gha 489, en route to east from Narayangadh of Chitwan attempted to save a scooter with an unidentified number.

Critically injured driver Krishna Bahadur Rumba of Hetauda-9 died while undergoing treatment at the Bharatpur-based College of Medical Sciences last night, said District Police Office, Chitwan. 

The tanker overturned to a canal. Rumba´s son Deepak is being treated in the same hospital, police said.  RSS
